After months of putting it off.. it complete!
A blanket made entirely of either an outfit once warn by Alexis or a blanket or bib she used. The binding and the reverse side are also pieces of a favorite blanket.
This was one of the most stressful things I have ever done. Not only is making a quilt for the first time stressful, but add to that using tiny pieces (8x8 to be exact) of baby clothes that if you ruin, you can never replace. This will probably be the most rewarding and cherished thing I will ever make; Therefore it was all worth it!

I was cussing... A LOT! But it was relatively easy. It was my first ever attempt at making a quilt and I was most frustrated at having to stop and get my stitch ripper out. And all the diff types of fabric cause some trouble. The actual quilting part was a lot easier than I thought. YOU CAN DO IT!!! BTW the website that I put a link to wasnt the most helpful as far as tutorials go.. but you can see her design (which I found the easiest when I was looking) and she has links to other websites as well. Alexis uses her blanket everyday! :)
